Not sure if it's related or not. But I've Linked the application to GC Key just last week, After biometrics were done (and after they were marked as complete in PR tracker).
I guess waiting for the next update is the only option for now

For those interested in tracking and comparing their applications, I found an alternative to Google Sheets when I was going through the process for my wife last year. This tracker came up in this forum a few times and it has a couple thousand cases on there so maybe it’ll be helpful to you as well? Hi, I am an international student, doing my Ph.D. in Canada. My study permit expires on February 2024. I'm in a common-law relationship and I can apply for PR under common-law sponsorship now. It appears that it might take 13 months for my PR application to be complete so my study permit is going to expire before that. If I apply for PR, can I extend my study permit or apply for PGWP while waiting on my PR application?

The date seems frozen on March 20 but it does get updated. Mine got updated later with Biometrics done and a medical request. I believe they disabled that update date to fix issues with ghost updates.
