My sister is M.Sc chemistry gold medalist but has been home maker past three years. She is in Canada and wants to settle here for longer with her family. Her husband is research professor in Singapore with PHD in chemistry. I am not sure if she can get work permit or can get pnp. Because of her qualifications and previous work experience as a teacher that was for 2 years around 5 years back, can she still be eligible for some LMIA jobs. Kindly advise. She and her family were not able to meet the minimum score of express entry. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

You've posted in the wrong section of the forum.

If she wants a work permit, she will need to secure a job offer in Canada and her employer will need to obtain an approved LMIA. There are no jobs here. She will need to apply for jobs through sites like indeed and linkedin. It may be quite difficult to secure a job offer if she hasn't been working for the last three years. But she can certainly try.

For PNP, she will need to research the PNP programs to see if any are options.

Hi fellow member, thank you for your kind reply. Still very new to this forum.

For PNP programs as well, what province, the time line and her experience, qualifications set. Its bit mind boggling to figure out.
There is somebody interested to hire her as a manager in a grocery store. But my question is her background is in chemistry (M.Sc.) and work experience as a teacher. She is interested in that job as well and the employer is willing to complete the whole LMIA process as well. But during the process of work permit application, what is the probability of her getting it. Kindly advise. Cheers

Again, wrong section of the forum. Post to the PNP section.
