I had a UK Visa ban two years ago. It was not my fault but I take responsibility for it.
I had contracted an agent to undertake the process for me and he submitted on my behalf.
When the letter came, he didn't tell me because he also used his email but I got to find out anyway.
Now my wife is in the Canada for a study and I want to visit her with our three kid.

It might or it might not. Make sure you declare the UK refusal in your application to visit Canada.

Do you know the reason of your ban or was it just a rejection? In any case, do declare it upfront provide strong documentation according to the visa class that you are applying for.
