Looks like I might be one of the slowest:

AOR Oct 27 2022
ME requested Jan 13 2023 - Attended Jan 14
ADR requested Jan 16 2023 - schedule A, submitted same day might be why security is taking so long
GU Jan 17 2023 - ADR -> Not Applicable
Med Passed Jan 21 2023

Crimility - Passed
Eligibility - Passed
Secutiry - In Progress since Jan 18 2023
VO - CPC Ottawa

Any Reason for ADR?

Any indicators like Military, Govt Job, CoB, Occupation, VR, Travel History?

I might have put too many address histories as I used to travel a lot, also did a few interships as software programmer in US and Can as a student. But no militory/political role and nothing special besides.

NOC 2174?

nothing special in my case. did computer "programmer" role for a month in US after MS not sure if "Programmer" is an indicator to get Schedule A ADR and then put into security screening.

Interesting, I put 2173 as I have an engineering degree, but it might just be the reason.

there are many reasons like if u left any gap in address or activity or miss any travel history. or forgot to mention any visa refusal. or you make any travel recently or any other changes you made recently
Does this still trigger comprehensive screening even if No VR, No to Stat Q's, No Gaps in Address/Travel history or No Changes at all?

Nothing, just one more week of silence almost gone. Just got off from the call and was advised by an agent that I’m within 12 months processing time, so all good, no worries and if I will not get my portal email before Dec 2023 give them a call back again at that time.

Very frustrating, eh? I don't know what's keeping them on updating... They reduced processing times from 16 mos to 12 mos yet feels like it's the other way around. lol

Yes, it is definitely depressing. Last week, I filed a Writ of Mandamus to federal cout, to push IRCC to speed up. It cost me a lot, :(
Best of luck with your mandamus application! I have been in security for a study permit since 9 months ago. Not sure if mandamus will help in my case

Mandamus should work for your application. It is weird to take such a long time to process study permit.
