Have a question for you guys... I have a representative who helped me with my application and she created an account for me when I applied online. I am not able to login to track my progress online with that account. It says "suspicious login" even though I am trying to login myself. Do I have to create another account to track my progress with my email address? How? Thanks
Yes the Tracking site is seperate from the submission site. You haveto create an account first. https://tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en

If I create an account with my email address and password, this account will not conflict with the account the representative created for me right? Thanks for the info.
I believe if you have a representative on file, only they will be able to access the tracker for you

I believe you are right. However, I keep asking the representative and keep getting the same answer. I thought if I can check the progress myself, I can stop nagging the representative. :))

What stage is your application in? Waiting for oath to become in progress?

"In order to continue processing your application for Canadian citizenship, we require the following documents and/or information:

Passport Gap(‘s)

· There is a gap in the validity period of the passport covering the (5) years immediately before the date of the application.

· Please provide an explanation why the passport does not cover the entire period of time from October 21, 2020 to February 2, 2022 and whether you traveled outside Canada during that period.

You may send the requested information/document(s) or any questions regarding your application via the Web form at the following link or send the requested information, and a copy of this email, to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) at the address at the bottom of this email.

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

Please note that if we are requesting original documents please send the requested information, and a copy of this email, to the address at the bottom of this email.

You must submit the documents and/or information requested within 60 days from the date of this email. It is important to be aware that the Citizenship Act contains provisions to treat your application as abandoned if you do not contact Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) with a reasonable explanation for not providing the information requested within the deadline established for any item(s) required. It is therefore very important that you contact CIC if you cannot gather the required information within this timeframe."

Are they requesting my passport here or just extra information? The E-mail is really confusing. I did send an explanation. but I still did not get a test invitation. They did ask for my fingerprints which is weird because you usually get the citizenship test before FP.

Did you have two passports(expired, new) during the 5 year period and is there a gap between the both? If yes they are asking an explanation of the same. Like why you did not renew before passport expired and also did you travel between the gap.
Max times you get FP before citizenship test. Rarely citizenship test happens before background completes.

It looks like April 2022 SCR applications are moving faster than March's apps. Or is it just mine pending? No update since March 2, 2023. Everything in progress except BG and Test.

It's even worse. I made the mistake of peeking into May 2022 applications, and they seem to be moving even faster than April.
