Hi, I have a question.
Application date is Feb 5 and now I am waiting for the AOR. Just wanted to check if I get an open work permit after receiving the AOR, would I be able to change my current job?

I just noticed that on my birth certificate, there is a spelling error in my mother's name, will this create an issue?

If you have already submitted your application and have not yet been contacted by the OINP, you may be able to make changes to your application. Contact the OINP immediately and provide them with a corrected birth certificate, which shows the correct spelling of your mother's name.
If your application has already been processed and the OINP has contacted you, you should explain the mistake and provide a corrected birth certificate. Depending on the severity of the error and how it has affected your application, the OINP may require additional documentation or may make a decision based on the information you have provided.

Btw I already got the nomination as birth certificate was not a requirement for oinp. I was referring about the PR portal. But I assume it's the same thing as you mentioned. I will probably try to get a certificate with correct spelling and then submit my application.

Will do. I think mine is classified as Outland, as I have applied from my home country then moved to Canada a few months after my application was received. - Correct me if I am wrong.
