Five years ago, when I renewed my passport in China. You operate a machine, follow the instruction and do some clicks, scan your ID, your finger, then sit there to take the photo your self (the machine is actually a box you are sitting in)...it even ask you if you want better look (only skin tone)...and it has a fake black shirt collar for your conveniece if you forgot to dress in dark so you can put it on and looks like you dress correct. Without emergence I received new passport in one week. Absolutely no photo missing and to check your real bio the same time.
For most of PR card renewal application, I guess a simple online check from CBSA will solve the problem. Just like a DL renewal. Have no idea why PR card and passport renewal waiting time is that long...officers are for special cases, not for general cases.

I agree with you. It's 2023. Verification of these things should be instant and a few days for the PR card to arrive by mail. Ah well.

Delivered - 09-Feb-23.
Instead of delivering it to Sydney, NS office, UPS delivered/re-directed it to the New Waterford office.
Did anyone's application go to the New Waterford office? If yes, how long they are taking to issue the AOR in case of a PR renewal application?
When I checked on other forums, citizenship applications are redirected to the New Waterford office and they are taking lots of time to issue the AOR.

Hello - I submitted my application for renewal online on Oct 2 and I received a response on Feb 1 to send color xerox of all passports with full pages (to determine RO as I was out of country for most of the time but I am within the required days) which I sent them to 49 Dorchester St. However, UPS shows it's delivered in NEW WATERFORD B1H5V8 CA. I am wondering if they delivered it to the correct office, when I called UPS they said they have a forwarding setup for 49 Dorchester St.
Does anyone know about this office location or has anyone experienced the same?

December 10th. It’s been returned twice though and I suspect it will be again.
same here also noticed the submitted button is highlighted, however until yesterday I had the message "photos are missing". Since this morning I no longer see that message anymore and status still says Submitted
Hello - I landed with my COPR on Nov 9th, 2022 and was told at immigration that the first PR card would be mailed to the address I provide. My dependent wife and kid received their PR cards within 50 days. However, I am the primary applicant and still have not received my PR card. It has been 97 days since my first landing. Raised a webform last week but no reply.

When you call IRCC, It will ask you for the UCI , press two i.e. no UCI available and then as soon as the Message for AF and UK refugees start playing press 330 in quick succession you will be able to reach them.
