Guys, Who got parents medical done early 2022, Medical will expire in next 3-4 months? What is happening in such cases?
I am worried if they will just sleep on file and medical will expire.

Timeline:
Biometric and Medical was done in May 2022
PCC : July 2022
Additional documents : September 2022
File transferred from Mississauga to Vancouver office : Nov 2022
Pre-arrival services email : Nov 2022
5669 form for Mother : Dec 30, 2022
Nothing since then.

I don't think so. IRCC is not issuing any loans or line of credit.

Back in July, we received two separate biometrics letters on GCC Portal for principal and dependent.
You might have to contact IRCC to send 2nd letter for dependent, if letter you received doesn't have names for both applicants.

I did raise a webform to ask for the same. The letter I got only has primary applicant name (Father).

I received PCC request along with current address proof. On the GCC portal, the option to upload PCC is shown only for the PA and not the dependent, although, I received the request for both. And there is no option to upload the address proof document. Anyone had the same issue?

Upload both in one with explanation letter attached
May be scan and then put all in 1 pdf then upload

You can send them through web form Proof of your request for PCC EX. confirmation number proof or any document that you already request the PCC from whichever country's authority.

On cic website:
If you can’t get a police certificate from your country or territory
If you’re unable to get a police certificate from a country, you’re responsible to show why you can’t get one.

To prove that you can’t get a police certificate, you must:

• show proof that you requested a police certificate from the correct authorities and
• write a letter explaining all the efforts you have taken to get one

As long as you send them any supported document of PCC application before deadline you don't need to worry.

Thank you so much Heli! Appreciate the insight. The past week was really stressful getting the Police clearance there’s a lot of delays . I don’t think we’ll get the clearance in time so ill do what you suggested.

Hi Everyone,

I am really hoping someone can share their expertise.

I applied for my parents' sponsorship in Dec 2021 and today I received an email asking for the following:

1. Current residential address for PA and dependent
2. For Principal applicant: proof of relationship to spouse: Asked for Aadhaar/Voter's ID and Police certificate
3. For dependent: Police certificate
4. For Sponsor: Proof of relationship: Voter ID, Aadhaar, School records or Indian passport

I am really disappointed that they have kept asking for the documents every time. I have made sure that we provide everything all the time. There is no positive update on my application to date.

I understand that they ask for police clearance later, but for other requirements I am confused.

Can someone please share their experience? Is it normal or have we missed anything? We have submitted the biometrics but never received any confirmation approving the sponsor or applicants.
