Hi, I am a protected person and want to apply for PR. As I know, a protected person does not need to provide a police certificate from the home county. But I requested a police certificate from my home country three years after I left it and four months before becoming a refuge claimant in Canada. I have the document and was wondering that should I submit the police certificate to IRCC? Do you think providing the police certificate would accelerate my application process? Thanks

Hi, I do not think submitting the police certificate which IRCC does not require will make your processing time faster. I would not submit it at all.

You don't need to submit that certificate and even if you do, it won't help accelerate anything
