@Katayoon do you know the timeline for ecopr? As someone was telling me they stop giving ecopr and I was telling them that’s a wrong information. Because in the email I got from Niagara it states that ecopr will be available after they confirming of physically in Canada.

Hi everyone, it's been a week and I dont have refusal notices after 3-4 follow ups. Is it normal?
As stated the office do not have to provide this to you. He can be very mean and send straight to CBSA. Which it can take them up to a month to receive and call you for this. For me this is what happen. And I have to go ahead and do JR..you do not need the notes to do this. And the lawyer can ask for notes through that and for sure will get it. JR prevent deportation.

This is news to me. When we did this last year, ecopr was uploaded to the Portal after a few days from confirming address. If they give up coprs, how would you prove PR? Many people never travel and do not have PR cards.

Thanks for the response. I have called CBSA officers and they have advised they never receive such notes. Maybe it was a one of case. Also spoke with lawyer and she said officer provided extremely vague response and it's important for JR to submit formulated arguments around the officer's analysis and refusal reasons. I have read JR cases online and all the cases I have seen they include officer's analysis and attorney responses to those arguments. However, if IRCC fails to provide me with the information on time JR is out of question. Thats why I am concerned... and wondering if anyone has experienced delays in obtaining notes for JR...

Ok I understand what you are saying. But I am telling you. You can file JR without reasons. Asking for a leave and requesting reason for refusal as you did not receive it. Almost everyone I know that did JR. Waiting to get reason from court then fix your arguements and if your lawyer refuse to tell you this. I think he is out for money. But again. It’s all up to you. It takes CBSA up to one month to receive refusal notes. Call the call centre and they will tell you if notes were sent there yet. Plus if you apply for GCMS notes you will get notes in that. But officers can be very mean I think you will be the 3rd person here to have officer not send notes. I was one of who officer sent notes month and a little to CBSA. And I filed JR 5days after negative answer without reasons and request reason from court.

@CanadaMKMK22 Hi dear, you don’t need a refusal note to file a JR, you can go ahead and file the JR. Your lawyer will request it during the process because he will need it. In my own case I requested for the refusal notes because I needed it to write a reconsideration and thank God they provided it. I also filed for JR without mentioning anything to my lawyer regarding the refusal notes I got or even the reconsideration.

JR is a very long process taking many months and even years. Your lawyer will have plenty of time to get refusal notes and build up your case. She just needs to file appeal within 15 days - not complete arguments. Even if IRCC and CBsA refuse providing reasons, laywer will order GCMS notes and read everything there. GCmS is your right under Access to Information and Privacy act - IRCc can't brush off that one.

You don't have to mention that if they don't ask for it. And perhaps did you indicated in your submissions with IRCC that you worked cash for 6yrs or do you have any tax audit with the CRA?

Glad too hear that, unfortunately for me I owed money totalling about 3000 from 2013 - 2015 which i find odd as I had a work visa and paid taxes in that time and the cra sent me a letter in 2015 which I ignored and never heard from them since as I left that old adress
