Which is better of the 2?. Does it really take 6 months for IQAS to process?

I think WES is good,mine literally took approx 15 days or so for assessment.
For IQAS it took approx 3 months. But could be longer depending upon the authorities receiving your degrees and transcripts. In my case I shared online access ro both of them.

WES will be the good option if you are looking for the Quick assessment. Mine assessment result came under 12 working days.

Please make sure first that if you have done any masters degree or post graduation degree, WES might not recognize it as a masters degree while IQAS will recognize as a second degree.
