Hi,
I have a question.
I was a non-accompanying spouse in my husband's PR application last year and passed the medical and background check. After he received his PR card, he sponsored me and we submitted our application under spouse sponsorship (inland). I have received the AOR and pre-arrival letter so far. They also have my medical and biometric data.
I am wondering what is the next step and how long does it take for me to receive the CSQ request? (for Quebec).
Am I going under a background check again? Cause they checked my background less than a year ago.

One another question that I have: I may have a typo mistake in my Schedule A imm5669e (I am not sure because I filled it out online and I don't have a copy of the form), I just checked my world draft. May I send an inquiry for the file and explain the error?

I have applied Outland spouse file by paper file and sent through. Corrier on 23 sept but it delivered on 3rd of October . So how long it will take for generating application no .

Guys.. Help me out here..
I landed as PR in July'22. In my COPR my spouse and child were shown as dependents. My wife delivered our second child in August'22 and ofcourse he was not shown and entered in the PR Application and further not mentioned in COPR also.
My worry is.. Will it be an issue when I put in a spousal sponsorship application? Will I be able to add my second child without any hassles? How should I go about it?

No issue. He was born after you landed.

Since unaccompanied do not go through as stringent of a background check as the primary applicant, you most certainly will be going through some sort of a background check update. Unfortunately, there is no way to tell what that will involve, or how thorough the last check was. Only time will tell and that is your next step. With respect to your typo on the Schedule A, if it is a big typo such as wrong date, etc. I would send a webform update explaining the error. That way CBSA or CSIS will know that it is a legitimate typo and not deception.

Initial intake is usually a couple of months right now.

Hi All - I am applying for a spousal sponsorship for my wife. As a part of the application process, I need to provide a proof of correspondence with my wife. Few of the chats are in our native language. Therefore, I need them to be translated to English by the certified translator. I tried finding certified translators online but could not find a reliable one. Hence, would be really helpful if you could please suggest a few that you might have used for your applications. Thanks!

Note: Not sure if my location matters. But just to let you know, I am currently located in the US.

You'd need to say from what language.

Hi, I applied online INLAND... I am a PR and applied only for my spouse.

Applied online... Aug 27 (Office Mississauga)
AOR ... Sep 9
Medical requested ... Sep 9
Medical complete and updated on PR tracker ... Sep 14
Pre-arrival letter ... Oct 12
Eligibility pass ... Oct 13
Background check ... Oct 27

I wanted to ask that everything is complete now. And most importantly, in my tracker, the COPR number is populating now. It was not there before. It has an expiry date of 2027, though I thought it only used to be 1 year from Medical.

1) As I am inland, do I still receive PPR, or will I directly get COPR.
2) I'm confused, everything is complete in 2 months. What would take them longer to update status to "Approved"...
3) Why is COPR expiry date 2027 when it usually is only 1 year from medical. Is it because I am Inland?

Hi guys,

This may be a stupid question.
My wife did the medical so it is sent to Canadian visa center back home.
Since I am in Canada and she is an out land applicant, do I have to get a copy the medical or just upload the reference number details paper, which hospital provided to her?

What is the contact number for IRCC again?

Hi, I applied Paper Application (INLAND)... I am a principle applicant (sponsored)

Applied through Paper Application: Aug 16,2022 (Office CPC-Mississauga)

AOR: Sep 09,2022

Eligibility PASS (but not updated on GC key account Yet)

Medical was approved on Sep 09,2022 (I sent my upfront Medical along with Paper Application)

Biometric Requested: Sep14,2022 ( Completed on Sep16 and updated same day on account)

Pre-arrival letter ... Sep 15,2022

BACKGROUND CHECK:
Criminality Passed: Oct 26,2022
Security Passed: Oct 27,2022

Can Anyone help this out please:

What would be the further step?
Will I Get Ecopr and If YES how long can take after all stage passed?

HI guys, do they normally ask for interview before or after AIP?, I got my AIP and pre-arrival last week but apparently I can still be called in for interview, am a inland applicant too.
