Can someone share how long does it took from the 'Counter Delivery to BLS Status' to get the document delivered at door? I live in Toronto if that matters.

I am expecting my application to reach the 'Counter Delivery to BLS' status on Oct 31 or Nov 1. I have my flight on Nov 12th. I don't know whether the document will get delivered in time or should I try to cancel delivery and do a pick-up.

If you are sure that the status will be counter delivery to BLS by 1st November (Because it typically takes 3 to 5 days to have the status updated on BLS side once you see everything is completed on OCI website). If you see the status update by your expected time, you should receive it a week before your travel I.e. by 5th


Purolator is a express service so you should get it in 48 hours since it is handed over to them.

Yes you can opt for pickup as well. By canceling it but they are not going to pay the cancelation fee AFAIK.

I just checked it's showing CAD 345.
I didn't see CAD 375.

Hello,
I am applying for OCI for myself.
In Part B, I have to add a family member's OCI card information, so I will enter my daughter's OCI card info.
There is a 1st question which says Date When Applied.
How would I remember date when I applied OCI for my daughter?
Can anyone please advise on that.

What is going on with this. IT says "No such record found " please help.

Hi all..

Need some clarification..
The check list says .. original and copy of Canadian passport , Canadian citizenship certificate and Indian passport..

I am sending a postal application.. Has anyone sent a postal application with the aforementioned originals.

I feel the originals are for verification and return when you deposit a walk in application. But what to do in a POSTAL APPLICATION. PLEASE ADVICE.

My OCI application experience:
1.Reached Brampton (40 Gillingham) around 9am, about 50-60 people ahead of me, waited for 3.5 hours. Actual work didn't take more than 5 minutes.
2.Those who managed to book an appointment were in and out within half hour.
3.They ignored the professional / employment letter and COPR. Returned both to me.
4.They asked for Indian (cancelled) and Canadian passports for verification. Returned both to me.
5.I opted for pickup instead of courier.
