FYI guys if you do not receive your certificate within a week that might be due to error from the post man. Someone's certificate was dropped in my mailbox with mine. The address was 3 mins drive from my house so i had to go drop the certificate my self and made sure i saw the person. Already fulfilling my duties as a Canadian.

Q, on the oath invitation that will give you, will it state there if it’ll be virtual still or in-person? I see some from fb that some of them are back in-person oath. Just curious. Thanks.

Seeking help - my son is attending university in the US. He took the citizenship test in May 2022, and notified RICC that he needs to take it outside of Canada. The test result was updated two days after. There has been no progress ever since. This week, he received an email from RICC, asking whether he has returned to Canada. As he is currently attending university in the US, he is apparently not. How should he respond to RICC?

Thank you!

I think IRCC is looking to schedule his Oath ceremony, but for that he need to be in Canada. You should let them know when he is planning to be in Canada. AFAIK, unless until he is here, they may not schedule his oath.

I applied for canadian citizenship on August 2021. Received Cetizenship test request in April 2022. I gave my Test while I was in India. On September 2022, I get an update on my application stating that I have been invited for an interview with an official.
Does anyone has been invited for an interview who gave thier test outside Canada. What is exactly is the interview about?
Hi, we got the same request due to taking the test outside of Canada. Have you completed your interview? Any advices? Thank you.

In person ceremonies are still a rarity. Most Oath ceremonies are virtual
You may receive an email providing you details about the ceremony upto 1 week before the actual ceremony

Hello ,
I logged in today to see the status of my application and I see that Oath Ceremony is scheduled for 1-Nov.
I have a question here, I am travelling outside Canada during this period and will have to request cic to reschedule my Oath Ceremony. Does anyone have experience with this? I read online that submitting web form is the way to inform them about rescheduling. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Almost five months of inactivity since Decision Made. Tried multiple times to get a status from IRCC but all I get is canned answers. Is it worth going on Twitter and adding pressure that way?
