My PR is in process for a year now with Oct 6 as aor. My pgwp is expiring in December and I’m eligible for extension however I also have a dependent spouse working full time. Assuming that I receive pgwp extension before pgwp expiry, can my spouse continue working after applying for her extension of SOWP under implied status?
Or am I better off with applying BOWP for both at the same time to avoid hassles of applying for SOWP for spouse separately?

I just received ADR today for my spouse.
They have given us 7 days to submit all the documents which will not be enough.
Also for my spouse to do medical in India - the physician in India requires an IME(immigration medical examination) form.
They do not do upfront medical anymore is what my spouse was told.
Anyone know how to get that or if there's any way around it?

I don’t know how the PGWP works, but if you’re a PA and your spouse is a Dep., you apply for the permit you’re eligible for (BOWP, e.g.) and you will apply for an open work permit for your spouse with your application. You’ll need to tick the option « spouse of the PA » on the application form for your spouse. Don’t forget to attach the family representative form signed by your spouse.

Received a ghost update today. Expired medical (2 weeks ago) now updated as passed once again.
CEC Inland with an inland dependent, AOR Oct 6.
Background check changed to 'we are processing your background check'.

Anybody know how long it will take now for portal confirmation?

probably about 1-2 weeks, did it change from initial medical passed to "you do not need a medical exam" in your case?
