I wanted to inquire about my time in Canada that could be counted towards my Citizen application. I came to Canada in Dec 2018 on a closed work permit.
I applied for PR under FSW April 2020, Meanwhile i was also issued a bridging visa to continue my Job in Canada.

The PR application went pending due to covid processing delays and i received my COPR on 19 July 2022 and also received my PR card. For the whole time up till now (almost 4 years) except for a few months i was in Canada and dint go outside the country. I applied via inland and was not able to travel outside the country, moreover i have been on Job the whole time and been filing my taxes each year for the last 4 years.

I want to understand the time that i can count for my citizen ship, i know the time on work permit can be counted as half upto 1 year. I wanted to inquire about the rest of 2 years that im still in the country could that be counted towards my Citizenship application?

You can count the pre-PR time spent in Canada towards citizenship but this will not allow you to apply now. You still have a bit of a wait ahead of you. As you said, you will get 1/2 day credit for each full day spent in Canada pre-PR, up to 1 year credit. The other 2 years must be post-PR. So if you became a PR in July 2022, then the earliest you'll qualify to apply for citizenship is July 2024.

Does Implied status counts towards citizenship days ? Any idea about that.
