IMM5532 Part A question 2 and spousal sponsorship withdrawal

I'm in doubt about that here so I'm asking for opinions...

There is the question in IMM5532 :

I don't know how to answer this and I'll explain why: In 2018, I married my former wife from South Korea in May 2018 and she moved with me to Canada shortly afterwards. I filled and sent the inland spousal sponsorship which is received by IRCC on 2018-07-06 and received AOR (with F0xxxx included) on 2018-08-20. After having issues with her, I decided to withdraw the application so I called and sent webform then they sent me a letter on 2018-10-03 confirming that since no decision was made on the application, they accepted the withdrawal of the application. Some fees were refunded so it's basically cancelled and didn't continue further, which means I didn't sign any undertaking.

The question phrasing made me unsure whenever I should select YES and input my former PA or select NO as it was cancelled and add an explanation in Part C question 10 about that.

Answer is No. Because that sponsorship was never approved and your ex didn't become a PR under your sponsorship.

You are right and I was overthinking a bit, especially because they will certainly see the older application so I selected No and not think about it.
