What IS wrong is that CEC having *high* score (with an advantage over FSW ofc) and crying for no CEC specific draws at the same time.
Yes, but the whining is due to the perception that high scoring candidates are FSW. While there seems to be more CEC at 500+ scores (at least those high ones). A CEC only draw would not bring down scores much, if at all. The idea behind urging for a CEC draw is that CEC candidates are disadvantaged. This is proven untrue. Their main competitors are other CEC candidates, not FSWs. A CEC-only draw would hurt FSW candidates but would not help lower scoring CECs.

I can see an argument for a FSW+CEC only draw (no PNPs), because PNPs are taking a lot of spots at the moment, though I didn't see many people asking for that one. But there is zero logic for CEC only draw. The only reason is work permits expiring, but that should be handled outside of EE draws. (It is handled poorly, but that's another thing).

It is debatable, but I am of the opinion that immigrants are a net good for a developed country. The way Canada is doing it though, it's a net bad. There is no incentive to actually live in Canada. People will just use it as a clean retirement home when the time comes. Why? Well they never addressed what made immigration necessary in the first place. It is prohibitively expensive to raise kids. the housing bubble is ridiculous. Goods and services are far more expensive than what they are worth. Simple things like internet and cell phone plans are among the most expensive (and also the slowest) in the developed world. The leading conservative party nominee jerks off to Trump at night, and the liberal party leader is an absolute moron who appoints imbeciles to slowly chip away at democratic rights. As a country, Canada is screwed long term, and immigrants pretending otherwise won't help.
Man you aren’t aware where people immigrate FROM.. places that are screwed short term, without a long term to screw at all.

Try to solve Canada’s problems and your efforts may be futile. Try to solve some other country’s problems and you end up in jail or at the coroner.

Your side notes to mod is cracking me up :D :D :D.
Trust me @wonderbly ,I always have problems with people who try to enforce, useless rules.
It started with my school, the school I studied was so strict, people used to call it a jail, they wanted students to speak in English(English is not my damn native language, I am really greatfulto the language becauseI can communicatewith a lot of people, but when I am speakingto peoplewho know Malayalam, NO ,If you don'tknow I am perfectly fine and I don't expect you to learn but still living in Colonial hangover ,NO,they think English makes you civilized), they expect absolute obedience from you and life is all about studies kid and guess what half of the students graduated from their lack basic social skills .
My parents ,my dad , he expected me to be the most ideal son ,get great grades, basically worship my parents, NO if you are wrong, you are wrong doesn't matter whether you are my parents wrong is wrong. If I ever have kids they can and they should call me out when I am wrong.
India undergrad - first of all the college I studied was garbage ( in india ,in us I learned the lesson so worked hard to get into a great university) the profs also want to be worshiped ,and useless rules that intrudes into people's personal space,as long as I get my grades, why the hell you care about my moral conduct, I went to school for learning mechanical engineering not moral science...
Then came to US there the first thing when I entered an advanced linear optimization class ,I saw a girl's foot on table when a prof was teaching in india you can't even imagine that at that point I understood I am at the right place.
As long as I don't bother others freedom ,I don't like people bothering mine ,I am not a dog to basically obey what other people tell me to do ,I have my own thought process, I don'tlike to be controlled, Even the mod himself/herself/other knows I didn'tsay anything bad but he just wants me to be politicallycorrect as I said if somethingis bad it bad black and white, peace

Are these for the PR card? Speaking of, did you have to pay the 50 CAD when applying for it, I figured first one is free... Thanks.

Those are not your typical CEC candidates.

To be in the 540+ range you are truely a high skilled worker and you certainly rank high in all evaluation parameters. When you get to the 501 - 510 range, then the quality of the candidates tends to fall, and so on. Plus, this break down from the IRCC is in par with our analysis that 501+ pool is filled with a majority of CEC or Canadian graduates, especially taking into account the number of people added in the last two draws.

Now we know that, on July the 20th, the pool was left with 8,115 candidates with CRS 501+ and the avegare of PNPs is about 700+ per draw, which leads me to believe that the draws have a high chance of returning to the 3,500 level gradually. 2,500 for Federal High Skilled and close to 1,000 for PNPs.
