Thanks for the response. Have you tried to get any updates on your application? I've applied for GCMS notes back in May and still haven't heard back. Not sure what else to do.
I have sent a webform recently, but no update on that. I had Adrs and remed which were submitted and passed on June 11th 2022. Nothing after that. Saw so many people getting PPrs within a month of submitting ADrs and Remeds. Its quite sad, nothing else to do but wait :(

yep waiting, march 2020 aor!
not much to be done.

I received my COPR in mid July after 28 months. Since 2021, I found out what happened with our applications. They left them rotting while they went after more applications they deemed easier to process during pandemic time.

now however I truly believe (and hope) they are to finally end all of ours… there is only 20,000 left and their are processing on average 6 to 8 thousand persons each month…

good luck

I've tried multiple webforms. They don't read them. I'm an April 2020 CEC applicant still waiting. Any other CEC applicants still waiting? My criminal background check continues to remain in progress.

Hi people — we are fully vaccinated with approved vaccines on ArriveCAN — traveling from Pakistan to Canada with CoPR and VISA. Do we need COVID PCR test pre-onboarding of flight? Please help and let me know. 6 months ago in a doc with visa it said we need it, but on ArriveCAN it says we don't need it. Confused.

No, you don't need tests if you're vaccinated.

No, you don't need tests if you're vaccinated.
Thank you!

One more question: I'm immigrating to Canada as an out of land, FSW via Express Entry.

I need to use ArriveCAN. Unsure which category applies to me?

Below is what I see. I'm leaning towards #1 since I have the CoPR and Visa or #7 Other

Please tell which category applies to me?

What best describes you or your primary reason for entering Canada? (required)
If you are including other people in your submission, all travelers must have the same reason for entering Canada. If you are a Canadian citizen or have right of entry and you're traveling for exempt essential reasons, select "Work/employment or essential reasons".

  1. Canadian citizens and others with a right of entry
    1. These people can always enter Canada: Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or a person registered under the Indian Act.
  2. Work/employment or essential reasons
  3. Discretionary/optional travel
    1. Foreign nationals who intend to enter Canada for visits, weddings, leisure, tourism, recreation, fishing, or other optional reasons.
  4. Study (international student)
    1. A foreign national who holds a study permit to study in Canada, whose study permit was approved or who is entitled to apply for a study permit at the port of entry.
  5. Compassionate entry
    1. Foreign nationals who have approval to enter Canada to provide support to a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, temporary resident, protected person, or person registered under the Indian Act who is deemed to be critically ill or requiring support by a health care practitioner, or to attend a funeral or end-of-life ceremony.
  6. Family reunification
    1. Foreign nationals who intend to enter Canada to reunite with or to accompany an immediate or extended family member. For further information and requirements, see uniting with family members.
  7. Other

Just select Other, that’s what I selected at the time of landing.

Hey people, when we declare the goods accompanying and goods to follow, does canada charge import or any other tax on it?

Why I ask is my first list is 32 thousand Canada dollars. And to follow list has jewelry so it is 25 thousand Canada dollars.

I don't want to pay taxes on these as I already did when I bought the items.

Or I can leave things behind and make sure my stuff is let's say half that 15 thousand dollars?

Confused. Most of the electronics cost a lot like 18K dollars of laptops and phones and watches. What should I do?

No response on GCMS notes since June. Does anyone know what one can do here? How is it possible to keep us waiting since April 2020? Can't possibly still use Covid backlog as an excuse! Is there even a recourse here? Anyone else running out of ideas and has any suggestions?
