Were you hibernating for two years to even think 453 might be even remotely close to being high enough? I'll have whatever you've been smoking...Yup completely agree.... I've under 25, just qualified as an optometrist in the UK and only have one year of work experience- in training- (total of 2yrs in Nov, & 3 in Nov '23 fingers crossed which should increase my score ... if it doesn't get *even harder*).
Guess the only way in the meantime at the moment is to brush up on my almost forgotten school level French...
3 years of exp will get you to somewhere in the 480s range in 2023. You're gambling if you think that's going to be enough. Either learn french (and start asap: more and more people will start doing this and 500s will be commonplace, as we're seeing), or go study in Canada and get a PR for 100k CAD. Those are your two options. Not sure if optometrists are an in demand NOC anywhere, but even if they are, 453 won't cut it, plain and simple.
