Has anyone tried using the ECAS service and it worked? I heard u can check your status there but it doesn't show me any results. Does that mean the processing hasn't started yet?

Hi @legalfalcon , group members please need your advice on below,

My Aor is March 2020, I got married in May'2022 while my application was still under processing. I informed ircc immediately about my status change, but I did not hear back from IRCC until now for any documents request for my spouse and now they have sent me "Ready for Visa" email i.e. Passport request. Please guide me on this as to what options do I have,
- Can i send my passport for visa stamping and inform them at landing as PR and later sponsor my wife?
or
- I have to wait until IRCC request all document for my spouse?

Hello Members and @legalfalcon , my COPR states my city of destination is calgary but I am willing to move to toranto. My plan changed a lot in last two years. I am travelling by land and will be travelling from the US. Since I am FSW, will there be any problem in moving to toranto instead of calgery? I would really appreciate your response

Hang in there.

There are reasons to be positive:
a) remed normally is the end of the long path. It was for me.
b) it will take some time before the recent ITA applications start to be processing. (They have medicals and biometrics to submit first).
Meaning they have only a few older applications left (around 20,000 persons) and they have been processing around 8,000 a month, so yours are definitely in the very end of the line!!

Hold on!
