Hi Everyone, on May 19th IRCC emailed me saying I need to resubmit form IMM 5768. I resubmitted this form on May 31st and received a confirmation on July 6th saying they have received it. My file still shows returned and no updates after that. Is anyone in the same boat and how long will it take for the portal to change from returned to submitted?

November 26th applicat. I was asked to resubmit IMM 5768 form. After that no update.

Hi congratulations.. please can you share the process of passport request . Do the parents have to go and submit in vfs ?

My parents did submit their passports by walk-in at VFS, India. Walk-in at all VFS offices in India is allowed on Saturdays only from 9:00 - 2:00 pm. However, I would recommend using the 2-way courier services as it is much better. The lineups at walk-in are too long at the moment

When you open detailed status .. top There is provision for submitting documents

When you click check full application status .. at the top there is ‘view status or upload documents ‘

I did that. I sent my child’s birth certificate along with little explanation, which I wrote in we form section. So far they did it not ask any additional documents.

What link have you used to send the information? Is it? https://secure.cic.gc.ca/ClientContact/en/Application Also, what options did you choose on this page?

Dec 1, 2021 applicant. Asked for additional documents which were sent on April 26, 2022. Still no update.

I got an email from immigration asking to resend form 5406 with everyone signing the form individually. Here is original text of the message. IMM 5406 (for Principal Applicant):

Please provide a current, completed, signed and dated Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) for the Principal Applicant and all dependents aged 18 and over, whether accompanying or not. On form 5406 , there is no place to sign the form . plus who needs to sign it? All sons and daughrlters and brother/ sisters of my mother?

i recvd the same msg.. but only my father's 5406 was missing.. should i send mom and papa both forms.. or just for my father?

Question- are parents as PR applicants eligible to apply for OHIP under “apply as PR applicants category”?

No they don’t qualify for OHIP. They will only qualify when they get AIPwhich is usually right before approval.

We got the form request as well. My parents were not high rank employees. I think they are requesting it from government employees. Which office is processing your application? For us is Mississauga

Yes Mississauga. Did you fill the form only or uploaded any kind of explanation letter as well?
