Hey guys, I'm going for higher studies in Canada, and my parents wish to accompany me to University, and help me settle in, by staying through the initial 1/2 weeks of my program. My parents had applied for the visitor visa on 8th May, 2022, and had given the biometrics on 12th May, 2022, but haven't heard back since. I'm a bit worried, as the processing times have been increasing - they were 120 days when my parents applied, and have now reached 147 days. Anything I could do at my end to ensure my parents' visa comes on time?

Thanks

EDIT: Also, I had applied from Mumbai, India.

There is no way to speed up processing or to make sure their visas come through on time. If they aren't approved in time, then you should be prepared to travel on your own.
