review required is for proof of funds.
i already got and submitted it back in early 2021.

what does due date stand for in application assignment?
I think the due date is the theoretical date by which officers have to make a final decision on your application, but to be honest, it's just a load of cr*p.

Hi guys, just a quick question. Our medicals were extended last month without the need of doing re-medicals. Is it a good sign that our application is moving forward or is it just done automatically?

Cheers.

Heathrow you don't need according to my knowledge.
My 2 cents it I always better to have layover in the same country in you case canada because if you miss the flight or something there it won't be complicated especially if you are traveling first-time.
True. Travelling first time.

As long you're not waiting in transit for more than one night, you don't need a UK transit visa with a valid Canadian visa. Bear in mind though that Heathrow closes at night and you may have to find a hotel if you're waiting in transit overnight.
Thanks buddy

Hey, AOR 17 Feb 2021, medicals has been automatically extended 26 May 2022 with no GU, no updates since then. Applied two times for gcsm notes with no reply so no idea what VO. Hopefully the medical extension is a good sign.

Got ADR for PCC & POF on June 18th submitted the same day as I had both of them in advance. Anyone idea how long does it take from ADR to the final decision now?

Tired of waiting for more than 19 months

Good news everyone! I became a permanent resident yesterday.

The landing process at Toronto-Pearson was smooth and surprisingly fast. Went from kiosk to primary immigration officer to secondary (for PR activation) ... all done in 5 minutes total. Since I don't have a permanent address, they didn't take my address and told me fill out the PR card form later.

Then I told the customs checkpoint that I have goods to declare and they sent me to customs screening where they stamped the BSF186/A forms and gave me the blue slip. Again, all done within 5 minutes. I guess it's only the departures which are horrible at Pearson.
Did you fill in the BSF186 form or did the immigration officer fill it in please? Could you tell me which address you wrote down under “Importer address” on the form. Was it your CoR address or temporary address in Canada?

Appreciate a reply from you or anyone reading this.

I filled it. Don't fill up the parts which are in grey and the parts which you're not sure of.

I wrote in my new temp address in Canada (but it is also my new CoR address).
