Hello Everyone
I just got a message from cic to get medicals done for me, my wife and my daughter
The medicals that were submitted upfront were not expired at submission time.

i dont know, why they are asking for them again
Does anyone got the same message from cic?
I don't know your exact timelines but there was a period of leniency on about to expire and recently expired medicals during the peak of COVID restrictions. During the original application period in 2021, you could submit what you had available as medicals but IRCC always had the option to ask for new, unexpired ones at a future time. I believe this policy formally expired at the end of March 2022 -- many are being asked for new medicals. Even though your medicals may have been good at the time of submission, if they are expired (over a year since they were issued), IRCC can ask for new ones. If they are not expired, you should re-submit them through a webform with a letter of explanation. My medicals were expired at the time of submission (because I confused them with my Biometrics which are not expired). IRCC asked me for a new Medical which I did within a week. They then uploaded and 'passed' my medicals one week later.

That's true and it's the typical of IRCC. They said that this program should be an accelerated path for temporary resident to become permanent resident. Yet now, the processing time of TR2PR is more than CEC. Recently, they said that they are working on a new 120-days TR2PR which does not make any sense given the current backlog and delays.
Although it is disappointing but the truth is there is not long term plan for anything in this government. They only take action when the issue arises. Like the one you're seeing with passport line up at the moment. They never though about such case before summer and all of the problems it can cause.

Same for this program, originally, they never announced that the whole program will be processed by the end of 2023 (or even 2024 !) and when they saw there are a lot of applicants which cannot be fitted into the immigration target of 2021, they started coming up with solutions.
They’re useless, they just want more $, more slaves & more votes. That’s the bottom line

As anxious & frustrating as waiting can be, I thought I would point out that I have only heard of one rejection in all of the TR to PR forums I have been on. That one rejection was because the applicant was asked many times to provide information to which they did not respond. There were two other rejections (temporary) that I'm aware of (due to minor IRCC misunderstandings/errors) but the applicants were able to explain the issue through a webform letter or IRCC call, and they had their file reinstated without much effort. So, although it is infuriating to wait given the original promises of the program, it would seem that patience is still the best approach while being proactive to make sure that you are always checking for notifications and requests. It would appear, at least for now, that almost everyone will get processed & passed through to PR ... eventually.
There were a few rejections in 2021 listed on Renu’s YouTube channel & a couple or so more at Urvi’s. These were not French issue but other based on eligibility, anyways it’s still very few si positive wrt

Honestly, if people are being asked to spend more money on medicals due to IRCC having not processed their applications over a year after submitting it, is another huge slap in the face.

Do you have any connection with Ukraine? Bcoz I heard that any applicant of Ukrainian nationally or any relation with Ukraine were selected for priority processing.

Little update about my process. Still at same page, no GU or ADR. Had to apply this week for my WP extension, already have a temporary WP Extension until they review all the paperwork (2h filling up stuff + 300$ short).

About TR to PR, I contacted my MP that was able to gather some information about my process (took 2 working days), I was informed that the application received on May 24 2021 is currently open and in process.

Eligibility and security not started
Criminality verifications are in progress
Medical has passed

But why CIC / RCMP are taking so long in criminal I really don't know. Seeing people who received AOR at same week as my self with portal request in the hands is sad (about how CIC deals with all requests without organization, giving people priorities). The only thing that make sense for me is that my process is stuck with someone mediocre at work (or is about to retire and don't want work anymore). Anyway, keep you guys posted about any updates.
Little Update.

  • Stream B: essential, non-health care (with 1 dependents)
  • Submitted: May 24, 2021
  • Biometrics request: 21 Jan, 2022
  • AOR: 24 Jan, 2022
  • ADR : NO ADR, everything uploaded upfront
  • GU : NO GHOST UPDATE SINCE AOR
  • Medical passed: 21 Jan, 2022
  • Review of additional documents
    - We do not need additional documents
  • Background check
    - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
  • Final decision
    - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
  • GU : 23 Jun, 2022.

So it took 5 months to get a GU. wow! Anyway, my MP asked me until July to get a report from CIC.

Apply GCMS notes to CBSA …..
IRCC take forever to respond ATIP request
I have applied for " Access to Information Act to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada" with IRCC yesterday. This is called GCMS notes right?...and do you think I should apply with CBSA instead of IRCC?
