No i didn't (483 points) but I was confused as to declare or not my new job offer. I thought it might be misrepresentation if I didnt say that I had a job offer. At the end of the day, the agent didnt even count those 50 points.

So yes, I guess to have points for valid job offer, you must have that specific mention that you will still have your job, 1 year after your PR. But honestly whom employer would be ready to write that....

No - you don't need an LMIA. However you do need to work in Canada for your employer for at least a year and you must also obtain a letter from your employer stating that they will continue to employ you for at least 1 year after you become a PR.

Dependend needs an approved LMIA since they are on an open work permit.
