I applied for my parent's Super Visa April 28 but nothing yet. Medical Exams were uploaded but still says "Not needed". Asked and paid to do Biometrics again (they have a valid one but expires in 1 year), still says "Not needed". No movement whatsoever.
Any thoughts?

That’s a tough question, I have no clue and also wouldn’t want to give you any wrong information so I can’t help you on that, but if I was you and it’s giving me to move to the next step with the date from when he was born, then I’d go ahead. And as he was born in UAE, obviously the officers will see the documents and understand as the visa process takes time, no one will ever get a visa the day he/she is born. But if you are hesitant then find a lawyer who can help you on that question
Today, we tried to visit VFS to submit the Paper bases Visa, they (the very first reception counter) just sent us away stating they do not accept paper Visa any more - Is that true?.

we mentioned the issue we are facing while submitting through Online, they asked me to visit One of the visa n document help center located downstairs.

They r premium doc & Visa assistance office, When we told our issue they said they can help. and charge would be AED 525.

But my question is if IRCC system did not allow me to proceed with actual visa date, same would be the case in theirs as well. Unless, they plan to do what u mentioned above. Use the birth date instead of the date in Visa.

tats is the only logical conclusion I can arrive..

Now not sure, if we need to proceed on my own with this or pay then AED 525, which would be utter waste considering they will do only as data entry work which I have already done. :( :( :(

Finally, made up my mind and submitted the application online myself. by selecting the birth date in that section. Attached Birth Certificate and Consulate of General letter on Birth in additional documents section.

here after it is all in the hands of IRCC & Insha Allah..

My husband, daughter and I have valid PR cards. We are currently living in Dubai and have not met our 730 day residency requirements due to COVID travel restrictions and my pregnancy.

My baby was born in Jan 2021 and we applied for his TRV in May 11, 2022 because we have decided to move to Canada this summer for good. Our PR cards are valid till Jan 2024 and we have added all the reasons why we didn't move earlier to Canada in the TRV application. I was also made redundant in 2020 during my pregnancy which caused a dip in our finances. So we shared all the possible information to make our case convincing.

There is no detailed information on the IRCC website about whether the baby should have TRV or TRP, we read a few blogs and those had a few mix suggestions too. We just went ahead with the TRV application to see what happens. Its been around 23 working days now and we have not received any update. I understand there is a huge delay with applications and the process is taking longer than usual but how long should the TRV process take for a baby?

We applied online through GC key and our application is with Abu Dhabi office. We received AOR on May 12, 2022, but after that no response and no update.

Please share your experiences.

No applied on GCKey, Visit a family. What about you? When did you apply?
Thanks for your reply. I did not apply yet. I was checking the trend first if it is faster in UAE vs applying from home country. Did you provide invitation letter?

I've got a funny story. My fiance applied for a visit visa from Dubai on 11 April with her mother. Her mother got the visa in about 2 weeks, but my fiance is still waiting for any update for the past 2 months. I have no idea what they are doing. It makes no sense why 1 person would get it and the other won't. Her mother's visa was supposed to be the most difficult since she is on visit visa in UAE from India.

Our wedding is on 23 July and we still have no word about her visa. Everybody other than the bride has gotten the visa -- my mother-in-law, and 2 of my brothers... everybody.

Here's the timeline:
11 Apr - Application submitted
19 Apr - Biometrics completed
(complete radio silence)

We're gonna need a lot of prayers.
