Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

In our case, second medical was cleared in January 2022, additional documents with 2nd PCCs were all submitted by early May 2022. Any idea when can we hear about decision made? Parents are already on visitor record and have applied for another extension. VO is CPC-M.

I got my very first communication 2 weeks ago. However, prior to that it was radio silent for almost the whole 3 years. They did not even bother to answer the two requests for GCMS notes. (Previous notes showed no red flags). Constantly emailing MP and filing those feedback form at least once a month. I basically tried everything everyone suggested and still 0 response. I even emailed the minister...lol

Based on someone here suggesting to do upfront medical (to remind them of the app) we had planned on doing it and already got a date and then boom! I get medical request.

It is mentally draining and I have decided to try and distract myself and focus on other things.

Yes, you can plan their landing within the valid visa date.

Hi all have some questions.

My parents received ecopr in December. We took the pictures and uploaded for pr cards still waiting for pr card after 6 months. What can I do to get the pr cards ? Can I travel with them to USA and come back if I don't have pr cards?

For parents landing next month, do they need to wait for few months before applying for OHIP card or are they eligible to apply upon landing? I know some categories required 3 months wait but then I heard it was relaxed during COVID so does anyone know what the latest is?

Can someone guide .. if any risk to change address at this final stage of the application ? will they move the whole file from london embassy to canadian in land embasy ?

I'm wondering this, also. My mother just got her pre-arrival letter and medical request a few weeks ago. The mailing address is in Canada but her regular address is in Brazil, and she's currently here in Canada waiting for it all to conclude. Should I change her address or will this only delay things?

Quick question. I sponsored my parents from Alberta province, if they land here, apply for the PR Card and Alberta Health Card and then can they move to Ontario? Do you know if the Ontario health system will cover them with Alberta Health Card?

Yes. I was on the same boat 2 months ago. Once I submitted the 2nd PCC they sent me email about the passport request after 1 week. Hang in there. You are almost there.
