Hello everyone! I am new here.
I applied IG stream and received AOR on March 22, medical passed, info sharing complete, criminality in progress as of April 20 (GCMS notes).
I did not get any update since AOR, and I am thinking of travelling home during June.
Is it a problem if I am abroad when my application is approved, or can I just travel back once I get portal? Did anyone else get approved while abroad? Thank you!

Threre is a new policy coming in mid-June which allows TR2PR applicants to be outside of Canada at the time of approval.
Unfortunately the exact date is not yet published.
I recommend you plan your trip at the end of June or in July just to be sure.

Yes, I also missed to include a duration in my original form.

For address, you don't need to mention the places you stayed during your travel. It should be your address(s) in Canada and your home country. For travel you only need to mention the city in the personal history section.

So, in the personal history section you need to include work, study, unemployment, AND travel. Travels should be the same as your travel history form. Also, make sure that you cover the date they mentioned that was missing.
If you don't have enough space, create the same table in MS word with the same columns and fill it completely (from age of 18 until current). In your form, write that you attached a separate page in the end for complete information in the personal history section.
In the separate page, at the top write your full name, UCI, application number, and the question number of that section.
At the bottom of the page, write the date that it was prepared.
Print the form and the extra sheet, sign both the form and your extra page by hand and scan them to make them a single PDF.

Upload the pdf in your account.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you very much !

Sometimes it can take awhile before you can link. Keep trying for a few days. After that, if you still can't link, submit a webform referencing your Name, UCI and the Application Number from your AOR stating that you can't link and ask what they can do to resolve it, and you can also ask for the Case Processing Centre. You could also try to call an IRCC agent but if you don't have time to spend calling over and over (it can be a real hit and miss process to get through), by submitting a webform you will know that at least it got into IRCC. While you're waiting for the webform response (a week to a month), keep trying to link each day. You might link before the webform response comes back. It appears that IRCC agents do not process parts of each application in the same sequence or on the same timelines.
Thanks

Little update about my process. Still at same page, no GU or ADR. Had to apply this week for my WP extension, already have a temporary WP Extension until they review all the paperwork (2h filling up stuff + 300$ short).

About TR to PR, I contacted my MP that was able to gather some information about my process (took 2 working days), I was informed that the application received on May 24 2021 is currently open and in process.

Eligibility and security not started
Criminality verifications are in progress
Medical has passed

But why CIC / RCMP are taking so long in criminal I really don't know. Seeing people who received AOR at same week as my self with portal request in the hands is sad (about how CIC deals with all requests without organization, giving people priorities). The only thing that make sense for me is that my process is stuck with someone mediocre at work (or is about to retire and don't want work anymore). Anyway, keep you guys posted about any updates.
Did you apply for the TR to PR OWP?

Service Ontario needs a proof that you are allowed to work until your WP-EXT is issued.
IRCC will send you a letter in your account that you can use to extend your OHIP:
"After you apply online, we’ll send you a letter in your account (WP-EXT except PGWP) that you can use as proof that you’re authorized to keep working, if you’re eligible:
  • You can print this letter or show it with your current work permit.
  • The letter is proof that you’re authorized to keep working under the same conditions as your original work permit until we process your application."
This letter has an expiry date, I believe your OHIP will be extended until that date. You can double check with them once you got the letter.

Is this limited to Ontario? Could one get such a letter outside of Ontario? QC? NL? BC?

Contacting MP doesn’t do much . But if you wanna do , you can do it because they get back to you in a month.
so if in a month you get portal thats good
Otherwise you will get to know what’s going on with your file .
Try contacting ircc agent tommorow and then according email your MP.
I think how long the MP replies depends on their constituency. I contacted my MP from NL, they replied within 3 business days with the update (they asked some clarifying questions within 2 business days).
An MP from Montreal or Toronto would have many more constituents than from SK, NL, etc.

He told me 20 to 25 days and still waiting after 27 April.
He asked for the consent forms on the same day
