I do have some queries regarding my spouse visa as I had applied for my spouse's open work permit on 26th July 2021 but got a rejection on march 24 2022 stating that there is no stay period length because my study permit extension was pending with the expiration of May 31. I am still waiting for my study permit and hoping to receive it within a week or two weeks.
In my spouse's refusal letter, there is no reason related to insufficient funding, no reason to leave but just no stay of length.
I am assuming the refusal of my spouse's visa is because of the silly mistake that I made. I raised a web form and told them to issue my husband's application as soon as my study permit extension was in process with a brief explanation and the same night I got the refusal.
I would like to reapply for an open work permit but at the same time, I would like to invite my husband to the convocation of my first program. Is it possible to apply in between may once I receive my study permit because to again wait for SOWP would be a long process. and also I have my convocation being organized in June.
What would be the best option for me to bring my husband as soon as possible. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Should i wait my study permit extension and apply for sowp with the previous same document with updated version as in reason the ircc has only stated that no purpose of stay length. Regarding my 2nd program is ongoing and end on 30 december 2022. Please suggest me the best options to be done also should i apply from a new portal or the old one .
