I hope you all are doing well and safe.
I was wondering if you could provide your valuable advice.
I had applied for my parents Super Visa application on March 27 through new Portal
Biometrics completed April 4
Medical request April 6
Medical completed April 22
Medical passed May 4
Biometrics validity letter May 6
I hope all is good.
With all your experience can you suggest when they can expect their PPR's.
I read usually it comes on same day. Any specific issues of delay? Anyone experienced it?

No, this is incorrect. People have travelled to other countries while waiting for PPR and were able to submit passport to respective country where they are currently.
Hi everyone, I'm looking to apply for a supervisa for my mom back home. She's booked an appointment for an upfront medical, all I have left to do now before submitting an application is to get her travel insurance. Can anyone recommend any insurance providers they found to be the cheapest for the 1 year insurance the visa application requires?

Fathers- application is ongoing
medicals were passed April 16th
criminality / eligibility is passed
security is in progress
Mothers- application is ongoing
Medicals were passed April 18th
Criminality is passed
Eligibility review is required
Security has not yet started
Does that mean they will wait for another month cuz they still haven’t started the security for my mother n law and why is her eligibility still in progress when my father n laws already passed

My mother already travelled to Canada on a visitor visa in January 2022 and I have informed ircc via webform already in January.
Can I submit her passport within Canada?

No you can not submit passport in canada, it must be submitted in country from where u applied.
Hi all, Please i got a question and apologies if someone has answered this before. I applied for super visa for my mum through GCkey on Feb 2/22 and the last and only update since application was on Feb 28/22 - 'Biometric Passed'. We have not had any update since then. Should i reapply through the new portal ? Maybe that will get faster processing time ?.
