Hi all! So I just found this thread and wanted to share my timeline to help anyone who might need assistance or just wants a general timeline of this process. My application was submitted last year and I am currently in Canada as an international student. This was my timeline:

Application for January Intake 2022

Application submitted on the 22nd September 2021
Biometrics done on the 23rd September 2021
Request for Medicals on 13th November 2021
Medicals Updated 16th November 2021
PPR 3rd December 2021
Passport Return from IRCC 16th December 2021

So in all the process took about 4 months. I would suggest you apply early once you get that offer letter from the college or university to avoid any delays. The process can be long and frustrating but it is worth it in the end. I guess the Accra VO's also don't help with their slow ways of processing applications but I strongly recommend that when you realize your application has surpassed the processing times you don't sit back and wait but rather alert them by raising webforms and sending emails to address the delays quickly. They might not reply but trust me they see it and sometimes these prompts will bring attention to your application faster and that's when you might start to see an update on your account.

Even with medicals sometimes the panel physicians might be the ones causing the delay with the medical update to show on your account and so it might be a good thing to just call back to confirm if they have actually submitted results to IRCC. In my case they submitted my results on the day I called to confirm which was almost a week after I had my medicals done.

But then receiving medical request is also a positive sign and one step closer to getting your PPR. All you really need is patience and to stay prayed up!
If anyone has any questions about the process of submitting a study visa application please don't hesitate to send a message and I would do my best to help as much as I can.
