I don't know how to react to something like this.

My eligibility was marked as passed (and not recommended pass) by an agent (Yes, agent) and not the officer. I still fear the same as above happening to me because who knows how they operate.

I called them last week and they told me eligibility is passed. But I have no way of knowing whether it's passed by an officer or an agent. I have ordered notes, but who knows when they will arrive.

Do they really expect to treat people like this and expect patriotism from newcomers when they finally arrive?

I submitted ADRs a month ago but they did change the status for 'reviewing additional documents' by adding April 19th before 'we are reviewing...'
Also haven't heard anything on a visit visa application since over 3 months. 45 days was the claim.

My theory for a while was that they're moving leftwards. Saw PPRs from Nigeria and then Egypt and then Dubai. That fell apart eventually. Then I thought it's all your webforms or visas. I have a US visa but didn't put any webforms or order gcms(once, never heard back). That's falling apart too. My speculation skills are back to work again.

Don't know why we're the chosen ones.

It's been almost 8 weeks since I did the re-medicals and submitted the ADR. Radio silence except for copy-paste responses to the webforms that I sent. Security still hasn't started as of today and no response yet to the Mandamus notice either (almost 2 weeks now).

Even my work permit application has gone past the 8 week advertised processing time with no response so far.

If only I'd known 2 years ago....

Mine has been stuck at "Not Applicable" for almost a month now. Which status is better? Mine or yours?

I changed my routine from checking applications every morning to doing the daily wordle first. If I can take control of aspects of my life, it will all be okay irrespective of the result. I hope.

Sorry for the irrelevance. What are you going to do? Checked everything a million times, called, ordered notes. These errors are unlikely now. It will either be something beyond my control or PPR for me. A future free of incessant application checking awaits woo.

Me too. Btw is there any difference between eligibility being marked as "passed" by the an agent as opposed to being marked as "recommended passed" by an agent? I always assumed that both the terms are interchangeable & both mean the same since the officer will finally sign off in both circumstances at a later date.

At least it’s not Feb 2022 AOR :D which I’ve seen one. That freaking “finally” hurt me bad mannn
I guess everyone has a reason for using the word'finally'. You don't know how much of my life and my family, my career has been put on hold because of this application. So regardless of how you feel about it, I have every right to say the word 'FINALLY'

Guys ! Just got my notes from CBSA and guess what ,

The note section mentions : file reviewed. Security Passed. No A34/35/37 concern. Fin dec pending.

The funny parts is the above notes were created on 19th of November 2020. My Pccs have expired this January. With no instructions from IRCC to re submitt them so far .

Meds are valid till Sept 2022 for me nd my Non accompanying deps ( as per notes ) . But my EE profile says '' you do not need medicals'' .

Another funny part assessments

eligibility : passed
Criminality : passed-expired
Meds : passed - expired
Info Sharing : complete
Final :

Its difficult to fathom how the situation is going from bad to severely messed up.

Wow nice. Perhaps they've already approved your docs. That's the only thing that makes sense.

I have heard it goes back to "You do not need to provide additional documents" when they finally review and approve the documents. But I am not sure.

Eligibility not started but everything passed?
Yes.

Only info sharing still in-progress but the agent told me the in-progress status on info sharing does not matter once Criminality and Security have been passed.

On the GCMS note, the case processing officer has recommended passed since 16/No/2021.

The consensus was "Recommended Pass" meant it has been signed off by an agent and "Passed" meant signed by an officer - who has the authority to make the final call.

But our application has strayed from their usual MO, so who knows.

Lol. They can't even follow their own broken system.

At least your eligibility is conclusively passed. I would be happy with that status if I were you.
