I sent my Ph.D. stream application documents for Sydney Office on the B1P5Z2 address (using carrier), and I see it was received without a signature on July 15th. Still, I haven't got any file number or email. Do you have news about the Sydney office? Is that normal for two months to wait? I filled a webform, and they told me that my files are not in their system yet.
they r processing march 2020

Hi Everyone, Let’s connect on this thread if your PNP paper based file is processing in Centralized Intake office in Sydney, Nova Scotia. As you know this office was closed in mid March due to pandenmic. According to the Nova Scotia government website, they are opening non-essential businesses in the first phase which will start from June 5 and hopefully IRCC also open thier Sydney office. If you are waiting for AOR, PPR ,let connect here.
I
Thier Sydney Office is closed since mid march. Nova Scotia is opening some non essential businesses today and hopefully they reopen IRCC office as well. We will find out this in next week when they start sending AOR for paper based applicants.

Hello everyone, I've read that Sydney, NS will soon be employing about 62 new workers especially to handle family based applications. Do you think it will free up the backlog of the paper based applications?

Hello Everyone,
I was asked to resend form IMM0008, Schedule A, and police clearance on the 2nd of March and I got this message after one year of waiting for AOR, I send these requests almost immediately, the first two documents on the 9th and the third documents on the 16th of March through Ircc webform. My initial application was paper-based which I have linked to an online portal.

I was shocked when I received the letter that my application has been discontinued and that two out of the documents are missing even though it was sent. Can anyone suggest what to do next? I have proof that I sent all these documents. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. I already live in Canada. Thanks in advance.

Hi.. Call the ircc client service Center and discuss with them or still better to go to your local Member of Parliaments office and they can speak on your behalf. Their office has direct line ircc. Good luck with that !

Thanks H06, I have been calling ircc client service number 1888 2422100, kept saying office is closed , is there a different phone number? I will look at the Member of Parliaments, it is just unfair. Thanks

The client support Center is difficult to get through but your MP has a direct access to ircc. The MPs offices are quite responsive. So I would suggest to see them asap. Thanks

1) You can directly call on customer care.. as per my knowledge people who are in Canada can contact by phone also.

2)other option is visit personally immigration office. Request them for guidance and go with all proof in hand

3) immediately send your request with details through webform...
write one cover letter and submit letter received from them and what you wish to say against that letter...I mean prove that you are right with document proof.

and in last you are in Canada already so do not worry... as per my knowledge they will give you all options to prove you are true...

As per my knowledge these are only good option... if you hire lawyer they will do same thing and you will pay them also.

Hello Everyone, Thanks for all the information shared, without you guys, I will still be struggling with clarity. I have to start a new application, I was wondering if anyone could explain or send me links to guidelines for Non-Express Entry(PNP) Online Applications? Thanks in advance.

I don't think you know what you're talking about... One DOES NOT SIMPLY "VISIT PERSONALLY IMMIGRATION OFFICE". IRCC are not your lawyers. They do not give you personal advice on how to fill your application. Their offices aren't places designed to help you complete your immigration application. That's your job or the job a registered immigration consultant.

These offices are generally closed to the public or can only be visited by appointment only (and that is, if they ask you). Please refrain from posting incorrect information.

Read the PNP application package very carefully: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/application-package-provincial-nominees.html

I thought you told us that you filled out all your application forms correctly and submitted the ADRs in time? Wasn't it, in your view, the IRCC's mistake? If so, give us an update on how your webform appeal went - I also think you should consider taking legal action against the IRCC if you do believe you did everything on your end correctly.

Hi, I sent couple of mails to IRCC explaining the situation with screenshots as evidence and confirmation mail when I submitted, till now IRCC has not responded to my mails.
I went to the MP office and she made a call to them, and she has spoken to 2-3 different agents and she was told that it is better I start a new application, a query will be raised with the webform department to find out if I actually sent the documents or not.
There is no appeal, not even when they have refused to respond to my email.
Thank goodness that I followed the advice on here to go to the MP. I think dealing with IRCC on my own is not easy, I'm not waiting around for an appeal , especially when my documents have been sent back to my former address. They only promised the MP they will look into it and asked her to tell me to start a new application. Maybe they will go through with the query or not, it will definitely be a long wait to find out from the webform department.

Really sorry to hear about that - how awful that you did all the right things and the IRCC won't even respond. Can I suggest you also email every news outlet possible? Contact the CBC, Toronto Star etc. Tell them about how ridiculous this is - this can potentially delay your PR by years, through no fault of your own. Good on you for approaching your MP but it sucks even they're powerless to have an influence here.
