AIP, no, last time I ordered my gmcp notes I noticed they didn't start with my application. Just recently they updated ECAS that's why I what to understand why till now, I am in processing status, so now 8 have to wait 15 months! You re kidding me
"Your processing time starts the day we receive your complete application and ends when we make a decision." 15 months starts from the day they receive your file. However, not everybody will be done within 15 months.
"Our processing times are historical, meaning they’re measured based on how long it took to process 80% of applications in the past." So there are still 20% of files that exceeded 15 months in the past. 15 months is processing time for the majority of files.
Thank you Katayoon, I guess I have to keep waiting..... sometimes I get nervous cause I've seen people getting their AIP and they are 2021 applicants, appreciate your clarification
Yes it is very disheartening but every file is unique and so is every agent. Your turn will arrive soon. Good luck

if he does that, it means he has authority. Because he works in the office, he has no beef towards you personally, it is only about the case.
Figure out the reason why he turned you down, and apply for the 2nd file soon as possible. Hopefully, a new office takes your application next time.
Going to the court is waste of time, even if the judge decides for reconsideration by a senior agent, there is no guarantee of approval. Plus going to court will cost a fortune.
it is my personal advice, maybe some members have better plans. Please share your thought.
Can you please provide some further information on the case for us to be able to help you? If they have refused reconsideration then maybe there is no grounds for H&C?
probably no solid ground compared to peer cases. there is a limited number of annual approvals. I think the agent will give a bigger chance to people in a severe situation, that's why explanation letter and proofs are important.

Yes that is the issue - that is why I am asking - it will help us all get an idea of what cases are being denied as well as being able to help himhow to make it stronger.
Reconsideration refused , decision maker asked why those proof not submitted before when it was available. My case is based on hardship , best interest of child. but the biggest error was done by my lawyer she put pandemic a reason that i can't go which cost me that. i suggest everyone get a Good lawyer.
He or she has the full authority to do that. Even in decision making its their full discretion about the case. You need to reapply because you cannot reconsider anymore as it is only allowed one reconsideration every application. Can you please share your timeline and what office processed your file ?
