I have completed my upfront remedical three weeks back but IRCC never updated my profile even after submitting multiple webforms. Now I have received a remedical request with a different IME number reference i.e. the IME number in my remedical file does not match the IME number in the IRCC remedical request form. How do I map them and upload these remedicals?
Any direction will be appreciated.

I am in the same boat. You can go to your physician or hospital and request them to send an email to IRCC to link your new IME. They will do it. That’s what I did.

Unfortunately, my clinic said they will not do the linking and I will have to contact embassy and make sure they link it.
We all know how that will work out. Talking to IRCC is worse than talking to a wall.
The clinic also said that they will perform the medical only once a year and will not repeat. That puts me in a difficult spot where one agency won't respond while the other won't cooperate.
I am thinking about uploading my medical documents with a letter of explanation saying that both the IME numbers are for the same person and hope that IRCC is not too dumb to work out the case.
Any thought?

Everyone,

I did receive the portal email for my PR approval but unfortunately I am in India and I have few questions:

1. Do I reach Canada as soon as possible ( I am currently on valid work permit and enter Canada without any issues) and reply to the email that I am in Canada?

2.Will there be any issues at Port of entry on work permit while entering Canada as I haven't received COPR yet.

3. Do I reply saying that I am currently out of country? Do you recommend doing this? I don't want to delay the PR process and am OK to go to Canada as soon as possible.

4. How much time the PR process takes if I delay it by replying "No" to the email now and then to reinitiate the process when I am back?

Timeline:
AOR:8th Jan 2021
COR:USA
FSW - Outland while filing
Current status:FSW - Inland
Proof of Funds ADR:23rd March
Portal email:7th April
Does your current status allow you re-enter Canada?

If yes, how long do you have to respond to the portal email?

If you have some time (may be a month?) then may be try going back to Canada first.

Sorry, not an expert advise but I would book another appointment with any other clinic as a backup plan just in case this one is not updated on time.

Booking another medical appointment is the only way forward in this situation. There is no placeholder on the website to even upload the medicals and a letter of explanation.

@legalfalcon and anyone else here who may be able to shed some light on this.
My partner and I both applied individually from India and received our AORs in Jan 2021. We did our biometrics in March 2021 in india. We then got married in April 2021 (we did email IRCC and inform them of the change). Thereafter we moved from India overseas in Nov 2021 (again we emailed them to let them know the change). Apart from acknowledgement of receiving our updates we have not heard anything March 2021 when we have our biometrics, no ghost updates or no communication at all. We decided it would take ages so didn’t pay much attention but it seems there’s tons of activity going on now. Not entirely sure how we can check the status of our applications? Any insight on what we can do that might be helpful ?

My clinic also refused to do the linking - I went for the upfront on 10th March, received remedical request on 12th March. Until now, I also don't have any updates on my account. My ADR docs submission is due next week, so I'm gonna mention the IME linking point in LOE, along with uploading the medical docs. Also, CandadaInIndia Twitter account posted this tweet regarding medical status so I still feel the best solution is to wait a little longer lol. If I receive any updates in my account, will post abt them here. Good luck!

Where will you upload your Letter of explanation and medicals? There is no placeholder on the website to upload medicals. Webform is the only way to talk to the wall at IRCC. We all know how the wall responds.

Hi Guys,

I recently received a re-medical request on 3rd April, as I've already gone through upfront re-medical on 28th Feb I'm not sure what do you next? I've already raised multiple webforms but haven't received any updates.

I tried talking to the hospital to link the new IME number to my upfront medicals but they refused, saying they can't do that.

One weird thing is in my latest GCMS notes, there is an update saying they're unable to download the attachment from the system. The remark is made on 2nd March but as per the eMedical information sheet received from the hospital, the medicals were uploaded by them on 5th March, they even opened my file on the eMedical system and showed me that everything is correct and if there is any technical issue IRCC will contact them directly and I just have to send them a webform and wait.

Attaching the snapshot of GCMS as well.

@legalfalcon Can you please suggest how to proceed? Can I merge eMedical information sheet with Schedule A and upload it in the ADR placeholder so that they can check?

I'm also thinking about mentioning these details in my Schedule A LOE and uploading the same. I called IRCC around 20th March, the agent mentioned that they've received my re-medicals but they haven't processed it yet. And after 12 days I got a re-medical request from them, not I'm not sure if I should just go ahead and do the medicals again or wait for IRCC to link both the IMEs.

I've been following FB groups and apparently many applicants are in the same boat, looks like IRCC sent out ADRs and remeds in bulk for Jan, Feb, March 2021 AORs.

Please update here if you find any more information on this issue?

Thanks for the info! I guess maybe you can wait for IRCC to link both IMEs, because going by the above tweet, I feel IRCC is probably aware about the IME linking issue, so I'm assuming that after we submit our ADRs, that could also trigger the pending IME linking - but this is just some hopeful speculation haha. Personally, I'm gonna wait it out another two weeks, since my clinic uploaded the results on the 15th March. I'll definitely post any updates I get. Good luck! :)

You cannot merge the IME number, it will have to be updated manually by IRCC and you will have to wait. This is why it is advised not to get re-,med on your own.

When IRCC sends a re-med request, the IME number is liked to your application, and upon submitting the meds, it is updated. When you get re-meds done on your own, unless it is manually updated, it will not be linked to your application, and this can take weeks and in some cases months.

Not getting any updates does not mean there is nothing happening in your application. Also, not everyone receives ghost updates.

To check updates, call IRCC, send a webform or request your GCMS notes.
