Received unconditional acceptance letter from the college. What is the best time to apply Study Permit?

I am prospective student from South East Asia. I just received the unconditnal acceptance letter from the college in London for TWO graduate certificate programs start from January 2023 to August 2024.

What is the best time to apply to the Study Permit? I also planned to apply and bring my spouse and child together.

Please share your experience, advise and suggestions.

You can apply whenever you want. Would personally apply now because processing times can be long. Sponsoring your family isn’t guaranteed.

It is recommended to apply at least 6 months before your intake starts to ensure that you receive on time.
However, given the current situation, its best that you do so as early as you can.

I have been waiting for 8 weeks and still no update on my visa status yet.

Actually, in this May, I am planning to apply the Student Permit for myself and Open Work Permit for my spouse. For my 5 years old child, I am planning to apply Temporary Visit Visa first, find a school and get Student Visa for my child.

With your suggestion, should I apply my Student Visa first? Wait for the positive outcome and apply the Open Work Permit and Temporary Visit Visas for them?
