Biometric appointment for visitor visa in USA

I am an Indian citizen currently working in the US and I had applied for a visitor visa on 23 March 2022 along with my mom who's also living here on a tourist visa. I don't see any biometric appointments in the nearest USCIS centre. Travelling to another centre isn't optimal for me. Has anyone tried walk ins for their biometric appointment recently?

They don't allow walk-ins without appointments. If you have an appointment, sometimes you can go early (you would need to contact the centre to find out if this is possible). However walk-ins without any appointment are not allowed. Keep checking the site for appointments regularly.

Yeah, the centers aren't too receptive with calls. Anyway, I'll keep your point in mind. Thanks.
