Wrong DOB

After arrived from canada I just realised that I have entered a wrong DOB of my dad (diff from their passport) in the form(USA and Canada).Now my dad want to go for a ceremony in canada.how can we apply for the visa now.can we make correction in the form anyway or you suggest to apply as it is!!!!!

Your dad's DOB in the application must match his passport.

When your dad applies, his TRV form must be the same date in his passport + include an explanation for the error mentioning your UCI Number

I think I could not explain properly in the previous post.i have entered wrong DOB of my dad in my family information form.what can I do now for my father to apply for visa.can I mail to cic now before applying or explain in the explanation letter(when apply for visa).best advice plzzzzz

The answer is still the same as what I had suggested in my previous post.

By including the explanation with your dad's application, IRCC will correct the erroneous date of birth in your file too. Your dad must maintain the same date of birth in his application as that stated in his passport
