Wrong birthplace

Hi I need your help!

I am the principal applicant I mistakenly filled the province in my husband's birthplace instead his home town in IMM 0008 (Generic Application form for Canada. However, in his Schedule A (Background Declaration) he filled it up correctly. Thanks be to God our application got approved. We need to submit Appendix B for visa and/or copr issuance. I am confused what information I will put in the place of birth. Is it the province or the town. In his passport it reflects both the town and the province. Please enlighten me.

Can i request a gcms notes to make sure the correct information on his birthplace? Can this be a ground for a visa refusal?
