WorkPermit Extension Outside Canada

Hello Everyone,

I have been having workpermit valid for two years issued by Canadian embassy in Singapore since nov last year. it is valid til june 2013. I got married about 6 months ago and we went to europe for honey moon, (all paid/arranged by my company) - I want to travel to canada with my wife and would like to apply for her open work permit,

I am wondering, should I re-apply with the same forms that I first applied and now including my wife's particulars, and request for extension on my work permit (my company is willing to give me permanent position as well) OR is there any other way around.

Also please advise FSW PR programs considering I have 10 years of same job experience, highly paid jobs both in Singapore and Europe and Now in Canada.

I would like to add here that I am yet to travel to Canada, that since the time I was granted workpermit I was busy with my marriage/honey moon, as well some assignments by my company inside Singapore. Please take a note of it when you consider a best answer to my question.
