Working for an Indian company from Canada

Hi,
I am a COPR holder and I am planning to move to Canada next month. My company is in the process of moving me to the Canadian subsidiary. This process might take 2 months. I plan on moving to Canada while this is underway. Am I allowed to do this? I am hoping this won't create issues because I am entitled to work from anywhere in Canada. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

As a PR you can work for whomever you want in Canada and if that happens to be an employer outside of Canada for whom you work remotely that is not an issue either. Only thing is you cannot escape the taxman regardless of who you work for or where they are physically located
