I have applied for my OWP after recently receiving my AIP for spousal support applying from within Canada. I applied for my OWP prior to having my medical completed and I was told it was too late to apply it to my processing work permit. I know now that I will have restrictions on my work permit. But I'm still unclear as to what positions fall under the "Health Field Worker" category. Can I do case management since I would not be clinically performing procedures on patients, rather managing their needed services? I can't seem to find any specific information. Can I work in an administrative role in a medical facility?
Every time I call CIC I get very vague information and the workers are far from impressed with how I entered the country as an American without filing for a visa first which actually isn't required for Americans.
