Work visa and EE application

I have submitted my EE form and in the interim I have also received a job offer. But given that the PR process (time not certain) could take a while can I accept the job offer ie. Come on work visa and in parallel continue my application. If i submit the LMIA to the authorities for PR will this help and not reject my PR application while i am still working. Current score is 328
