Work under an expired off campus work permit

Hello everyone
Thanks for your time to read my email.
Let me briefly explain my situation. I am current working in Edmonton as a full time bookkeeper. I am going to apply Alberta Nomination Program now. However, I am quit concerned that I once illegally worked for three weeks under an expired off campus work permit by ignorance of validity of off campus work permit. I graduated in 2012 Dec., but I withdraw one course in Nov 2012 which made me not a full time student anymore. Based on immigration law, I need to surrender my off campus work permit immediately. But I forgot doing that. I applied post graduate work permit in Dec 2012 after I completed my program. In Feb. 2013, I got a job offer, and I was very exciting for this job offer and I did not realize that my off campus work permit has actually been expired (the expiry date shown on off campus work permit is Aug 2013). I started working in Feb 2013 and I received my post graduate work permit in Mar. 2013. So, there were about three weeks that I worked under a invalid off campus work permit.

I concern this because there is a question in immigration application form asking “have you ever illegally worked in Canada?” I can not say No, because my employment letter clearly indicates my starting date is in Feb 2013. If I say Yes to this question, would have a big negative impact on my immigration application?
I hope I clearly explained my situation. Please reply if you are unclear or have some ideas
Thanks a lot
