I have received documents to be approved for PR status. I have not entered Canada yet but have a Canadian address with my husband. How do I apply for work? How do I get a work permit? Do I need one?

You don't need a permit to work in Canada as a PR. When you get your residency, go get a Social Insurance Number. That allows you to legally work.

You're welcome! You can literally go right into a Service Canada office right after you land to get your number. You don't even have to wait for the card to come, they give you a paper with the number on it.
