Hi all, me being a total idiot i just realized my current work permit which i got in April 2016 has my old EE profile application number on it. I got this work permit using my BC PNP nomination and work permit support letter. I did not have a PR application submitted at the time and never did under my old EE profile. My BC PNP nomination was linked to this old profile and under advice from a BC PNP advisor i was told to withdraw my old EE profile and create a new one, (due to a lot of technical difficulties on CIC end with receiving ITAs), which he would then link my existing PNP nomination to.
I now have a PR application submitted under my new EE profile.
Any possibilities of this causing an issue with my PR application? Work permit is good until April 2017
It is my understanding that I should be fine as regardless of not having the old EE profile active anymore the work permit was issued for 1 year. Any second opinions?
