Curious if anyone has run into this scenario...
I was given a work permit letter of approval in Feb 2020. The following week, after making travel plans, Covid struck... and I've not been able to get over to Canada the whole year due to travel restrictions in Canada, my own country (or both.)
My approval letter expires next month. I'd like to renew it for use this year, as things improve. Does anyone know the process for renewing?
I'm aware of the process for renewing a work permit, but I don't actually have one yet... just the approval letter that leads to one. I wouldn't get the actual work permit until arriving at a Port of Entry.
