My Complete Timeline:

28 Feb 2013 - Picked up date
01 March 2013 - Date received
22 August 2013 - Received an email requesting my Original Passport
02 Sept. 2013 - Submitted PPR personally at the abu dhabi Cad. Embassy, (Yesterday morning and collect my passport back in the afternoon with visa label.)
02 Sept. 2013 - Passport received with the visa.

@reshma if your passport is in the CEM why not you can send email asking that you want to borrow your passport and give the reason Email: abdbi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca.

I SAW THIS MESSAGE FROM SOME ONE SO I WAS ASKING WHICH ONE IS CORRECT AS HE MENTIONED MARCH APPLICANT SO I WANTED TO CONFIRM. MY APPLICATION IS OFF MAY

February 14 2013 - Immigration received my papers
September 03 2013 - Received an email requesting my Original Passport
September 03 2013 - Submitted my passport ( aramex )
September 04 2013 - Immigration received my passport.
