Hi,

I have asked this question before but haven't got a proper answer yet.
My wife was working with Accenture for 7 years and went to US on client location 5 times for period ranging 1-4 months each.

How to entry the work history?
Do we need to enter each duration in india and US separately? If yes, in that case it creates those many entries in upload document section and we don't have documents for all the durations.

Anyone with similar situation, please let me know how you filled work history and how you uploaded documents for these many durations?

Thanks in advance,
Varun

Work history - Create as many line items as NOC changes. If her role in Accenture was in a single BOC throughout her tenure, just have a single line item for Accenture.

Have multiple line items under Travel history - one for each trip.

Have single line item for Personal history - Employment with Accenture and location as India.

Her role was under single NOC but due to onsite visits, location changed between india and Us multiple times and also designation changed due to promotions.

Should she still enter one line and India as location?

Yes. Only NOC change and location change (Canada vs Foreign) matters for Work history section.

Thanks for replying Asivad.
So from your last reply, what I understand is She need to add one line each whenever location changes. i.e whenever she went for short term (1-4 months) onsite visit.

If she does so, under document upload section how to upload documents as out of 5 times she was only getting perdiums 4 times and was on indian payroll only
and 5th time she was on Us payroll.

Really appreciate your help here.

No. She has to add an additional line if either NOC or work location changes to/from Canada to anything else. Otherwise, one will add a fresh line item only when the work experience pertains to another organization.

In this case, none of the above apply. So you can have a single line item with location as India and you'll upload just 1 reference letter.

We had a similar situation with my husband. His job code and regular office base stayed the same but he had multiple trips to different countries including two 8 week stays in Abu Dhabi and 18mths of 2 weeks in Canada and 2 weeks in the UK each month - we put those details in the travel history.

Varun,

Your issue is similar to mine. Here is my solution for the same. While your wife travelled mutlitple times between Indian to US she was very much stil under one organization- Accenture. So in your work history the company will sill be Accenture and you need to mention the joining and exiting date ( if she has resigned) for accenture and not for her every visit to US. Being given an onsite opportunity doesnot change the end employer which will be Accenture in the said case.

In the travel history you will have to mention each of the visits individuallaly. For this you can look at the Indian exit stamp and US entry stamp date which you can mention on the CIC website. I think you main challenged will be if she has stayed in the US for more than 6 months in a single onsite stay then you will have to give PCC from US. Do let me know if this solves your query... cheers

Thanks for giving a clearer picture.
We'll be entering one entry for accenture. Should we enter the last designation in designation field?
What about Personal Activities and Address history?

What did you guys added there in this situation? Did you mention onsite as separate employment activity and separate address under Personal history and Address history respectively or just one entry in both places?

What about Personal Activities and Address history? Personal history will show that period under 'Employment' while Address history will have the geographical location at that point in time except for short international vacations (in which case, your address will continue to be the country of usual residence).

It won't be separate employment activity as long as the organization remains unchanged. Under address history, you will have a new line item each time the individual lived in another country.

Do WE NEED TO EXPLAIN IN LOE ABOUT ONISTE WORK EXPERIENCE?
